Michael Wu Participates in Winston-Sponsored LaunchFEST Startup Event

Winston & Strawn partner Michael Wu moderated the “LaunchFest: Attracting Funding for Startups and Angel Pitch” event in the firm’s San Francisco office on August 5, 2015. Winston also sponsored the event.

Selected startups pitched their ideas to a panel of potential investors and judges. Mr. Wu was one of six investors and moderated the event. Topics discussed at the event include tech trends and attracting funding, and accelerated startups.

Mr. Wu has extensive experience in investment management regulation. Based in the firm’s San Francisco office, he represents investment advisers, broker dealers, and sponsors of investment funds, and advises clients ranging from small start-up fund managers to organizations with billions of dollars under management.
