Mendenhall to Receive “James A. Seaberry Award for Excellence”

Litigation partner Samuel Mendenhall, based in Winston & Strawn's Chicago office, will be honored with the 2011 James A. Seaberry Award for Excellence on March 12, 2011. This award will be presented at the 18th Annual Black Law Students Association Alumni Banquet. Mr. Mendenhall, an alumnus of the University of Illinois' chapter of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA), will also serve as the keynote speaker of this event.

BLSA is a student organization which seeks to encourage leadership, community service, academic excellence, and professional development in the legal community.

Mr. Mendenhall concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and product liability defense.
