Maria Kostytska Speaks on Damages Valuation at ABA Conference in Moscow

Winston & Strawn of counsel Maria Kostytska, based in the Paris and Washington, D.C. offices, spoke at the ABA Conference on the Resolution of CIS-Related Business Disputes, held in Moscow on September 21, 2012.

Ms. Kostytska participated in the program, "Smooth on Paper: Calculating Damages in the CIS," which covered damages valuation in international arbitration. Ms. Kostytska discussed the "assumptions" that a lawyer can or cannot ask a valuation expert to assume, such as the valuation method, valuation date, tax regime, and interest. The speakers expect to publish an article on this topic in an industry periodical Oil and Gas Monthly.
