Linda Coberly Discusses Tips for Women Lawyers at Women’s Leadership Institute

Chicago Office Managing Partner Linda Coberly was featured in Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s April 27 article titled “Female Leaders Share Pointers at Program.” The article highlights a recent program hosted by The Chicago Bar Association’s Alliance for Women Committee’s Women’s Leadership Institute. This program brought together managing partners from large law firms for a conversation between women lawyers looking to follow in their footsteps. 

In the article, Linda discusses her career, mentoring, and tips for women lawyers. Linda emphasizes that women have leverage over their careers and the importance of asking for what you want. 

Linda is actively involved in the firm’s Diversity Committee and Women’s Leadership Initiatives. She was an integral member of the team responsible for designing and implementing a gender-neutral parental leave program at the firm. Launched in May 2016, the policy addresses elements vital to the advancement of women in the legal industry and prompted headlines throughout national business and legal publications.
