LeElle Slifer Shares Remembrance of Sandra Day O’Connor in Texas Lawbook

Winston & Strawn partner LeElle Slifer joined various Texas attorneys in sharing remembrance of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor with Texas Lawbook. As the first woman appointed to the nation’s highest court, serving as an associate justice from 1981 until 2006, Justice O’Connor’s life and career served as an inspiration and impacted many.

“Reagan’s appointment of Justice O’Connor provided a generation of young women with a valuable role model, including myself.  As a young girl growing up in Texas with early aspirations of being a lawyer, her rancher spirit, career achievements, and dedication to family were inspirational,” LeElle said.
