Laura Petroff Discusses Federal and State Labor Developments with PIHRA

Labor and employment partner Laura Petroff, based in Winston & Strawn's Los Angeles office, spoke at a District 12 PIHRA event on September 13, 2012. Ms. Petroff presented "Avoiding the Alphabet-Escaping the EEOC, Dodging the DFEH, and Other Handy Tricks," where she discussed the latest developments with state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Labor and the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency. Ms. Petroff provided attendees with useful tools of prevention and offered takeaways to apply in the workplace immediately.

Ms. Petroff has more than 25 years of experience as a labor and employment litigator and counselor, representing major employers in all aspects of employment relations, including litigation and preventive counseling and guidance.
