Kostytska Discusses Drafting Requests for Arbitrations at ICC Training

Maria Kostytska spoke at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)'s PIDA training, Study of a Mock Case under the New Arbitration Rules, on October 18, 2011 in Paris. Ms. Kostytska's session included moderating a working group session on drafting an answer to the Request for Arbitration. She was joined by Jean-Georges Betto of Hogan Lovells, Julien Fouret of ICC International Court of Arbitration, and France Matthew Secomb of White & Case.
Participants at the training included in-house counsel and attorneys from Qatar, Trinidad and Tobago, Cameroon, Morocco, Nigeria, Turkey, Venezuela, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Greece, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, the Netherlands, and France.
Maria Kostytska is a senior associate who concentrates her practice in international arbitration and litigation. She has represented Latin American and Middle Eastern sovereign states and private companies in nine investor-state arbitrations under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, and ICC rules. She represents clients in a variety of commercial arbitrations under the ICC rules.
