Kimball Anderson Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award from Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago

CHICAGO, June 20, 2008 – For the second time in as many months Winston & Strawn LLP general counsel and partner, Kimball R. Anderson and his wife, Karen Gatsis Anderson will be honored for their outstanding public service contributions with the Lifetime Achievement Award conferred by Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago. They will receive the award on Monday, June 23, as part of the organization's annual Campaign for Justice luncheon, which is being held in the grand ballroom of the Palmer House Hilton Hotel. Last month they received the prestigious Cardinal Bernardin Award from the Chicago Legal Clinic.

In addition to the Lifetime Achievement Award, Anderson has received numerous prestigious awards for his commitment to public service including the ABA's Pro Bono Publico Award; AIDS Legal Council of Chicago Advocate of the Year; and United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and Chicago Chapter of the Federal Bar Association Excellence in Pro Bono and Public Interest Service Award for two consecutive years.
