Kathi Vidal Speaks On USPTO Webinar: Legal Experience and Advancement Program (LEAP)

On May 18, Winston & Strawn Silicon Valley Managing Partner Kathi Vidal spoke on the USPTO’s Legal Experience and Advancement Program (LEAP) webinar. This program is intended to provide training and oral advocacy opportunities for less experienced advocates to gain practical experience in proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Additionally, as part of the program, the PTAB may grant up to 15 minutes of additional argument time to parties that choose to participate, depending on the length of the proceeding and the PTAB’s hearing schedule.
