Kathi Vidal Speaks at Fortune MPW Next Gen 2019

Kathi Vidal, Winston & Strawn’s Silicon Valley Office Managing Partner, spoke at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Next Gen 2019 summit on Dec 11, 2019. In its sixth year, Fortune’s Next Gen Summit is part of the Most Powerful Women franchise, designed to bring women together to strengthen their business lives and nurture their personal growth.

During her panel on Global Women Mentoring, Kathi spoke about the U.S. Department of State’s Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership, an organization that connects talented, emerging women leaders from all over the world with members of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women community. Joined by Lara Ayoub of Jordan, Digital Director, Al Mamlaka TV; Co- founder, SADAQA and Alyse Nelson, President & CEO, Vital Voices Global Partnership, Kathi discussed what drove her to mentoring and her approach to being an impactful mentor—including inviting her peers, colleagues, and other industry leaders across Silicon Valley to “group mentor” based on her mentees’ needs.
