Winston & Strawn recently announced the addition of Jonathan Levine to the firm’s New York office as a partner in the Transactions Department and a member of the Restructuring Practice. Jonathan counsels clients on a wide range of corporate matters, with a focus on complex corporate restructurings both in court and out of court. His clients include distressed companies, direct lenders, ad hoc groups, sponsors, asset managers, hedge funds and other strategic investors.
“Jonathan’s practice lies at the intersection of private credit, special situations, and private equity, and will provide significant value to the firm’s clients,” said Krishnan Padmanabhan, New York office managing partner, in the press release announcing his arrival. “We are excited to welcome Jonathan, as we continue to grow these capabilities in the New York market.”
“The firm’s expansive global platform — including a deep and experienced finance bench, particularly in private credit and direct lending, alongside a strong capital markets practice — provides all the tools necessary to advise clients across the full spectrum of restructurings and special situations,” Jonathan told Law360. “I was also drawn to Winston’s strong reputation for excellence and its collaborative culture. The chance to work alongside a dynamic team of professionals who are deeply committed to client success made the decision an easy one.”
