Joan Fife Named a Woman of Influence by the San Francisco Business Times

Winston & Strawn San Francisco managing partner Joan Fife was recognized as one of the San Francisco Business Times’ “Most Influential Women in the Bay Area.” The feature highlights female business leaders and shares their words of advice, proudest accomplishments, community involvement, and surprising facts about themselves.

Ms. Fife offered advice for how to help women advance in business, saying, “Everyone can mentor young women and make clear that they don’t have to do everything at an A+ level. If they focus on their strengths, they can be hugely successful.”

Joan Fife is managing partner of the firm’s San Francisco office and the head of the firm’s San Francisco labor and employment group. She represents employers throughout the country in class action employment litigation and has been named as one of the Daily Journal’s “Top Women Litigators in California” and “Top Labor and Employment Lawyers,” as well as The Recorder’s “Women Leaders in Law.”
