Jeffrey Kessler Named One of 50 Most Influential People in Sports Business

Jeffrey Kessler, co-chair of Winston & Strawn’s Sports Law Practice, has been named one of the 50 most influential people in the sports business by SportsBusiness Journal. The annual list recognizes executives who move the needle and determine which direction the sports business industry is heading.

Mr. Kessler, the longtime outside counsel for players unions and athletes, won a huge victory against the NFL by overturning its suspension of Tom Brady. He is also challenging the NCAA’s rules against athlete compensation in a lawsuit that recently obtained class action status for all college football and basketball players.
