Jeffrey Kessler Named a 2020 Trailblazer by New York Law Journal

The New York Law Journal named Winston & Strawn Co-Executive Chairman & Co-Chair, Antitrust/Competition & Sports Law Practices Jeffrey Kessler to its 2020 list of New York Trailblazers. For this recognition, the publication profiles New York lawyers who demonstrate innovative thought leadership, and make significant marks on the practice, policy, and technological advancements of their sectors.

Jeffrey was recognized for his success in the lawsuit charging the NCAA with violating antitrust law by limiting compensation to Division 1 basketball and FBS football players, a case that recently resulted in a permanent injunction that blocks the NCAA from enforcing the compensation rules against education-related benefits and payments. He was also recognized for his work seeking pay equity for members of the U.S. Women’s National Team against the United States Soccer Federation.
