Jeffrey Kessler Featured in Law360 Q&A Series

Jeffrey Kessler, a partner in the firm's New York office who serves as head of the antitrust and competition practice group and co-chairs the sports law practice group, was featured in Law360's Q&A series on March 12, 2013.

Mr. Kessler discussed his experience in antitrust and sports law, including the most challenging case he has worked on, McNeil vs. NFL, which led the way for future legal battles between players and owners in various sports. Mr. Kessler also described his early career, explaining how he learned from mistakes and a key mentor in the antitrust field.

He discussed the need for reform regarding the multidistrict litigation that follows antitrust criminal plea agreements, which is often so complex that even meritless cases may be settled to avoid the high burden and cost of litigation.
