Houston Managing Partner Mike Blankenship Talks Deal Activity with Texas Lawyer  

Houston Managing Partner Mike Blankenship connected with Texas Lawyer earlier this week to discuss where the Texas energy market stands today and what obstacles it faces in the coming years. Mike feels that “energy will continue to be a strong sector as demand increases with supply not keeping up. There will continue to be dollars going into clean energy projects but this will not stop the need for natural gas.”

He also adds that as capital formation for traditional O&G becomes more difficult, there will still be certain equity and lenders who view the hole left by traditional investors as an opportunity.
