This session served as a forum for substantive discussion and updates from the New York Attorney General's Antitrust Bureau Chief Elinor Hoffmanregarding recent antitrust litigation and rulings in health care and hospital mergers, non-compete enforcement, and pharmaceutical pricing; Elinor is involved in the current litigation brought by the Federal Trade Commission against Hackensack Health System. The presenters provided an overview of recent notable events impacting New York and the nation at large, as well as discussed the priorities of the Biden Administration in promoting and regulating competition in the sector.
