High Court Expands Whistleblower Protection

Last week, the Supreme Court significantly expanded the whistleblower protection provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) by ruling that the anti-retaliation provision of the Act protects not only employees of public companies, but employees of private contractors who work for public companies.
