Grant Schmidt Sheds Light on COVID-19 Through Human Interest Podcast

Winston & Strawn Dallas Associate Grant Schmidt was recently featured in a Texas Lawyer Q&A discussing his new Dallas-themed podcast “I Do This Because.” In each 30-minute episode, Grant interviews local celebrities and personalities discussing what inspires and motivates them.

Launched in February 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak, Grant began inviting more community leaders uniquely impacted by the virus to participate. He says this was a natural shift as he “felt strongly that people were hungry for information about how our leaders were handling the crisis. Not just from a policy perspective, but from a personal perspective.” He went on to say, “My goal was to provide some optimism and hope via some of our most impressive leaders in the midst of what is a very challenging time.”
