Gilles Bigot and Jérôme Herbet Receive Les Plumes de l’Economie et du Droit Award

Paris Partners Gilles Bigot and Jérôme Herbet were recognized at the recent Les Plumes de l’Economie et du Droit ceremony. Organized by the Business and Legal Forum (BLF), the annual awards honor outstanding articles with an economic or legal perspective that contribute to the ethical development and performance of the economy. Gilles and Jérôme both received a “plume d’argent” (silver medal) for articles combining economic and legal views.
Gilles authored an article on the silver economy titled “E-Health, a Major Challenge for the Silver Economy.”
Jérôme’s article, “The Headache of Executives of Listed Companies Remunerated in Securities of Their Company,” discusses the difficulties that managers of listed companies face when they are compensated in shares of their companies, further to the enactment of the Market Abuse Directive.
Managing Partner of the firm’s Paris office, Gilles advises and defends French and European leaders, such as publicly and privately managed health institutions, laboratories, professional associations, medical equipment and pharmaceutical product manufacturers, and health care practitioners.
Jérôme is a corporate partner resident in our Paris office. He concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, banking and financial law, insurance law, financial market transactions, and structured finance.
