George Lombardi Named Law360 “Intellectual Property MVP”

Winston & Strawn partner George Lombardi earned a spot on Law360's list of Intellectual Property MVPs for his representation of Monsanto Co. in a high-profile patent infringement suit against DuPont Co., which resulted in a record-breaking $1 billion jury verdict for Monsanto.

In addition to the jury verdict, the case stands out for the complexity and importance of the technology involved, the challenge of explaining it to a jury, and the opportunity to cross-examine DuPont executives.
