FCPA Enforcement in the COVID-19 Era: Trends and Compliance Takeaways
2020 has seen the greatest amount of financial penalties under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). As the entire world continues to suffer the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the United States did not cease its commitment to fighting bribery and corruption. U.S. multinationals and global foreign companies are increasingly expected to adopt extensive compliance programs, incorporate data monitoring into their control environment, conduct risk assessments focusing on the company’s bribery and corruption risks and evidence revisions to their existing compliance programs based on those findings. This webinar will address the recent enforcement trends and compliance takeaways to mitigate FCPA risks.
