David Greenspan Named Rising Star by Law360

Winston & Strawn Partner David Greenspan was named a 2016 Rising Star by Law360.

David Greenspan, a litigator based in New York, was one of four attorneys recognized in the Sports category. The Law360 profile focuses on his work representing the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) and NFL players (including Adrian Peterson, Tom Brady, Ray Rice, and Greg Hardy) in major labor dispute victories, from challenges to disciplinary cases to major work stoppages.

“The cases are really important for all players because at their core, the cases are really about making sure that players’ collectively bargained rights are protected and enforced,” he said. 

Mr. Greenspan also serves as chair of Winston’s College Sports Practice and is serving as co-class counsel in a lawsuit against the NCAA over its rules prohibiting schools from compensating college athletes. This is his second time being recognized as a Law360 Rising Star.
