David Sakowitz Named to Crain’s New York 2022 List of Notable LGBTQ Leaders

Winston & Strawn Partner and Capital Markets Co-Chair David Sakowitz is recognized on Crain’s New York 2022 list of Notable LGBTQ Leaders. This year’s honorees are outstanding professionals in their respective industries who are involved in mentoring programs, community activities, and philanthropy. They are invested in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as well as inclusive hiring practices. Hailing from various sectors and industries, they are united by their clarity of purpose, love of freedom, and appreciation for the LGBTQ+ activism of prior generations.

David is lauded for his pro bono work to uplift the LGBTQ+ community through the Name Change Project, which provides legal name-changing services to low-income transgender and gender-nonconforming people. He leads Winston’s Pride affinity group and is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
