Dan Webb Participates in Parthenon Marbles Mock Trial

Winston & Strawn Co-Chairman Dan Webb participated in The National Hellenic Museum’s mock trial event titled “The Trial of the Parthenon Marbles” on March 16, 2017, at The Art Institute’s Rubloff Auditorium. Nationally renowned judges and attorneys participated in the event.

The case represented a collection of Classical Greek sculptures, inscriptions, and architectural pieces that were taken from the Acropolis and have been on display for nearly 200 years at the British Museum. Greece has pressed the United Kingdom for the Marbles’ return, which has been refused on the grounds that ownership was properly acquired.
