Dan Webb Discusses Prosecution of Jussie Smollett on The Chicago Bar Association’s Podcast

Winston & Strawn Co-Executive Chairman Dan Webb sat down with The Chicago Bar Association to discuss his successful prosecution of Jussie Smollett and the actor’s upcoming sentencing on the “@theBar” podcast.

“To take something as sensitive as a hate crime, [something] that we’re trying to eradicate out of the fabric of America. . .what effect is that going to have on others, who want to report real hate crimes?” Dan asked. “Why would you do that when there are real victims out there that need to go to police departments, that need to be respected for reporting crimes?”
