Winston & Strawn’s Washington, D.C. office hosted a seminar titled “Damages in International Arbitration: How to Calculate and Collect Them” on May 1, 2014.
The seminar discussed recent trends in quantum analysis, shareholder damages, moral and punitive damages, and asset-tracing techniques. Ms. Kostytska discussed recent trends and special considerations involving arbitral decisions allocating damages to shareholders. Daniel Flores, Ettore Comi, and Andrea Cardani of Econ One highlighted recent developments in quantum analysis, and Nick Peck and Ryan Sparacino of Nardello & Co. presented on asset-tracing techniques involving different kinds of assets worldwide and share examples of successful asset investigations they have conducted.
