Charlie Papavizas Speaks at BIT’s 1st Annual World Congress of Ocean

Winston & Strawn maritime partner Charlie Papavizas, based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, spoke at BIT's 1^st Annual World Congress of Ocean, held September 20-23, 2012 in Dalian, China. This conference covered an array of ocean and coastal resource management issues. Sessions presented recent advances in the field, identified and offered solutions to problems, utilized case studies, identified knowledge gaps or collaboration opportunities, and discussed broader applications and implications of material presented. 

Mr. Papavizas is the chair of the Shipping Economics, Finance, and Insurance section and spoke on foreign investment in the U.S. maritime industry on September 21, 2012.
