“In some cases, it’s not possible for clients to completely extricate themselves, nor do they want to. It’s really just accounting for the risk of exposure and then trying to figure out if there are U.S. sanctions and E.U. sanctions [and] what that means from a long-term business continuity perspective. What needs to come down, what can be adjusted to remain compliant, and what would become prohibited instantly?”
