Brett Johnson and Jordan Klein Featured in Texas Lawyer Following Elevation to Dallas Office Co-Managing Partners

Winston & Strawn partners Brett Johnson and Jordan Klein were featured in a Texas Lawyer article where they discussed their recent elevation to co-managing partners of the firm’s Dallas office. 

Jordan, who also serves as co-chair of the firm’s asset-based lending practice and its financial services industry group, told Texas Lawyer that by the end of the year they hope to continue to provide great client service, onboard more clients in the growing economy, and add to the office’s ranks with lateral hires in areas such as private equity, public company M&A, capital markets, and debt finance.

Brett, who was also recently appointed co-chair of the firm’s litigation department, noted that the firm has become one of the go-to firms in the Dallas market for high-stakes trial work, and strategically, they are focused on class actions, complex commercial disputes, white-collar investigations, and patent and trade secrets litigation, because the Dallas area is a leading jurisdiction for technology. 

When asked about what was surprising during the months they spent preparing for their new roles Brett said, “Most surprising was really the level of intentionality behind so many strategic decisions and the quality of the people we have working behind the scenes.”

“A lot of things that you see as a partner in a law firm are the result of a well-oiled machine,” Jordan added.
