Bloomberg Quotes Lombardi on Monsanto v. DuPont

Winston & Strawn partner George Lombardi, based in the firm’s Chicago office, was quoted in the July 10, 2012 Bloomberg article titled “DuPont Hid Failure of Soybeans for Years, Monsanto Says.“
 
The article discusses a patent trial between U.S. chemical companies DuPont and Monsanto, alleging that DuPont took years to tell investors that their efforts to develop their own herbicide-tolerant soybean seeds had failed. Representing Monsanto, Mr. Lombardi said, “for years, they told the world GAT was going to work. When it failed, they relied on the Roundup Ready product.”
