Winston & Strawn Attorney Jason Lewis co-authored “Blockchain 201,” featured in the March 2019 issue of Coal Transporter. A lot has happened in the world of blockchain since the first article in this series, “Blockchain 101,” published in July 2018.  In this article, they focus on the work currently afoot to harness DLT for greater transparency, efficiency, and security in energy and commodities trading, shipping and supply chains. Additionally, they offer some conclusions as to what may lie in store for 2019 and beyond.
