Bill O’Neil Named as an Ally of the Year During Corporate Counsel’s 2023 Women, Influence and Power in Law Awards

Bill O’Neil, a Winston & Strawn partner and chair of the firm’s Hiring Committee, was named as an Ally of the Year during Corporate Counsel’s 2023 Women, Influence and Power in Law (WIPL) Awards. Bill was recognized for his role in helping to create and launch Winston’s Law School Experience, a first-of-its-kind, open-access legal prep course for first year law students.

The WIPL awards “honor general counsel, in-house leaders, and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law.” The Ally of the Year award is given to individuals who are committed to understanding different perspectives, are engaged with and committed to diversity efforts within their firms, and are vocal advocates for others.
