Basil Godellas Speaks at Fund Governance Summit

Winston & Strawn partner Basil Godellas spoke at the Fund Governance Summit on October 2, 2013 in New York City. The Fund Governance Summit is an opportunity for networking and discussing best practice strategies for corporate governance, enforcement procedures, due diligence for insider trading, liquidation and asset recovery. 

Mr. Godellas participated in the panel, “The Valuation Minefield: Independence, Accuracy and Litigation.” He was joined by Gene Deetz, Managing Director at Navigant, Mukesh Bajaj, Managing Director & Global Head of the Securities & Finance Practice at Navigant Economics, and Howard Lipper, Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Fund Services.

Basil Godellas is a partner in Winston & Strawn's corporate department and serves as the chair of the firm’s financial services practice group. Mr. Godellas concentrates his practice on representing companies in the asset management industry with respect to a wide variety of regulatory, transactional, and governance matters.
