Angela Machala Recognized in the 2025 Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards

Angela Machala—Winston & Strawn Los Angeles managing partner and Los Angeles & West Coast chair of the firm’s White Collar & Government Investigations Practice—was named as a finalist for two categories in Corporate Counsel’s 2025 Women, Influence & Power in Law Awards (WIPL): Managing Partner of the Year and Mental Health & Well-Being Initiative.

WIPL’s Managing Partner of the Year award honors a managing partner whose achievements distinguish her as an influential and inspiring leader. It also recognizes “individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary impact through their legal work, leadership, advocacy, or contributions to justice and the community.”

The series’ Mental Health & Well-Being Initiative award honors leaders who are committed to fostering a culture of mental health and well-being within their firm. As described by the publication, “these individuals have played a pivotal role in advocating for policies, programs, and initiatives that support the emotional, psychological, and overall well-being of legal professionals.”

The awards ceremony will take place on October 7, 2025, in Washington, D.C.
