Anderson Serves as Co-Chairman of Lawyers Lend-a-Hand Benefit
March 30, 2011
Winston & Strawn litigation partner Kimball Anderson was quoted in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin's article titled "Charitable program's 'founding fathers' to be honored." Mr. Anderson served as co-chairman of the Sun-Times Judge Marovitz Lawyers Lend-a-Hand to Youth Program, which took place on March 31, 2011 in Chicago.
Lawyers Lend-a-Hand is a mentoring program for inner city youth and the program honored Thomas A. Demetrio, James A. Morsch and Michael B. Hyman as "founding fathers" of the program. "Without all three of them, Lend-a-Hand wouldn't be what it is today. In their own way, they all had groundbreaking roles for it," stated Mr. Anderson.
Today, LLAH gives more than $200,000 in grants a year.
