Amanda Groves Speaks at the Food & Beverage Liability Conference

Litigation Partner Amanda Groves spoke at Perrin Conferences’ Food & Beverage Liability Conference: A Look at Hospitality, Liquor & Food Liability on October 18 in New York. She participated on “The Recent & Future Trends for Food & Distilled Beverage Manufacturers” panel and discussed the following topics:

• Advertising
• Prop 65
• Warning of alcohol labels, including “craft” and “handmade”
• “Healthy” distilled beverages

Ms. Groves is co-chair of Winston & Strawn’s Class Actions Practice, serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, and is head of litigation for the firm’s Charlotte office. Ms. Groves, who practices in San Francisco and Charlotte, N.C., has successfully represented consumer product companies, national retailers, and lending institutions in complex commercial litigation since 1996. She focuses her practice on consumer class action defense, primarily in cases alleging consumer fraud and false advertising.
