Alessandra Swanson Speaks at National HIPAA Summit

Associate Alessandra Swanson spoke at the 27th National HIPAA Summit, which took place in Arlington, Virginia from March 27-29, 2018. Her March 28 presentation was titled “Closing the Deal: Addressing HIPAA Issues from Both Sides of the Transaction.”

Alessandra regularly counsels clients on all aspects of HIPAA compliance, helping clients create the internal infrastructure necessary to comply with HIPAA’s privacy and data security requirements. She also advises on the development and implementation of policies and procedures and employee training, the negotiation of business associate agreements, and breach response and notification procedures.
