November 3, 2021

On November 3, Winston & Strawn Co-Executive Chairman and Co-Chair of the Sports Law Practice, Jeffrey Kessler is speaking at a virtual webinar titled, “A Conversation with Jeffrey Kessler,” hosted by Seton Hall University. He will discuss some of his high-profile sports litigation cases, including one of the most prolific sport-antitrust cases in the country, Alston v. NCAA, where he secured a unanimous 9-0 victory in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Jeffrey has been lead counsel in some of the most complex antitrust, sports law, and intellectual property law cases in the country, including major jury trials, and has represented a number of U.S. and international companies in criminal and civil investigations in the antitrust, sports law, trade, and FCPA areas. He has litigated some of the biggest sports-antitrust cases in history, including McNeil v. the NFL, the landmark antitrust jury trial which led to the establishment of free agency in the National Football League (NFL), and Brady v. NFL, which led to the end of the 2011 NFL lockout.
