A few months ago, Winston & Strawn re-launched our “Benefits Blast” blog, an email push similar to this blog, with timely updates, alerts, and reminders on topics ranging from court cases and regulations that potentially expand the duties or potential liabilities of 401(k) and pension plan fiduciaries, to action items for the Patient Protect and Affordable Care Act, and everything in between. The Benefits Blast offers short and succinct alerts on matters that may require immediate attention by our clients and friends.
The re-launch comes as the firm has expanded our Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice to more than 30 lawyers. The additions create an unrivaled depth and breadth in this practice group.
While most of you specialize in executive compensation, not employee benefit plans, I know that some of you either (1) are responsible for executive compensation and benefit plans or (2) know someone in your company who handles benefit plan matters. (As my focus is executive compensation, I generally will only author Benefits Blast posts applicable to non-qualified pension and 401(k) plans.)
