Winston Helps Students Start the Year Off Right

Our Charlotte office recently held a successful school supply drive to benefit local organization Classroom Central. This effort, sponsored by WISE—Winston Initiative for Sustainable Environment—was a friendly competition to see which floor could contribute the most pencils, paper, notebooks, and other items to help area students get ready for the school year.
The initiative was led by Charlotte Information Services Supervisor Patricia Weathers. Classroom Central, which serves nearly 100,000 students and their teachers across six school districts, aims to equip students living in poverty to effectively learn by collecting and distributing free school supplies.
Patricia Weathers and Kesha Thompson of DTI (Winston’s Business Center vendor) proudly display our supply donations for Classroom Central.
