13 Winston & Strawn team members raised $2,755 for their local YMCAs during the 2020 Stair Climb Challenge. For the first time, the contest took place virtually and inspired our participants to climb 75 floors using whatever stairs they could find, from parks to indoor stair climbing machines. Winston’s involvement was organized by Partner Ed Prokop who serves on the board of managers for the Stuart M. Ketchum Downtown YMCA.
Proceeds from the 2020 Stair Climb will support YMCA locations across Los Angeles which have become emergency centers providing food, free childcare, and virtual teen college readiness programs during COVID-19. In addition to those emergency efforts, funds will also be contributed to regular programs including youth sports, childcare, and afterschool learning programs.
