Winston University Invests in Associates’ Career Success and Fulfillment with Intensives

The firm invited our attorneys in the class of 2016 from across our global offices to attend Winston University Edge Intensive on May 2-3 in Chicago, and the class of 2013 to the Winston University Accelerate Intensive on June 13-14 in New York.

These two-day training programs, launched in 2018, are offered annually as part of our Winston University talent development strategy. They provide a springboard for the firm’s attorneys as they transition within Winston’s career development framework.

Winston University Edge Intensive programming included networking and well-being activities, professional skills training sessions and experiential learning opportunities presented by Winston faculty. Topics included superior client service, management skills, and career growth strategies.

The Winston University Accelerate Intensive got rolling with a group ride at SoulCycle followed by Winston University programming covering useful skills for associates at the rising sixth-year level. These included client service excellence, relationship development, planning for partnership, and leadership skills.

The first day of both programs wrapped up with offsite evening events, providing a welcome opportunity for attendees to socialize and bond over great food in Chicago and New York.
