Winston Participates in “Diversity in Biglaw” Panel at UChicago

Partner Steve Flores spoke to 40 members of the Latino/a Law Students Association and Black Law Students Association at a University of Chicago Lunch Talk event on October 30.

This panel discussion, titled “Diversity in Biglaw,” featured four attorneys representing large law firms in Chicago and garnered a high level of engagement from the law students in attendance. Topics ranged from common misperceptions about working at a large law firm, to practice area selection, to diverse attorney recruitment and retention initiatives.

Steve currently chairs the firm’s Latina/o Lawyer Alliance at Winston affinity group and recently was named to the Chicago Committee Board of Directors.
