Winston Launches Mentor Connect for Professional Staff New Hires

Our firm recently launched Mentor Connect as part of an enhanced onboarding, orientation, and integration program for professional staff.
Each new staff member is paired with a mentor on their first day at Winston, providing them with an additional resource outside of their department. Mentors connect their mentees with the full range of resources we provide to new hires and conduct regular follow-ups to help new hires fully acclimate to the firm.
Our first batch of mentors and mentees enjoyed activities together ranging from in-depth conversations to quick check-ins over coffee to participation in a charity run/walk event, providing positive feedback regarding their experience during the 90-day Mentor Connect program:

The firm’s comprehensive Welcome to Winston program is consistent across all offices and departments and is aligned among attorneys and staff. In addition to Mentor Connect, the program incorporates fresh content on diversity and inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility, and social media training, along with general firm orientation and IT training.
