Winston Café Featured in Chicago Lawyer Article

Chicago Lawyer magazine’s September 2015 issue featured a tour of unique law firm office spaces, including the Winston Café opened earlier this year in Chicago. The article, titled “Billable Hour, Meet Happy Hour: Office Space Is Not Just for Working,” covers the recent trend at law firms to create cafeterias and entertainment areas as a way to cater to a changing workforce, compete for talent, and better utilize office space. The article highlights the many benefits of the new café, from increased collaboration to free coffee and soft drinks, as well as its contemporary design features such as community-style seating, flat screen TVs, and a light projection “skylight” that brightens in the morning and dims later in the day.
