Volunteer@Winston Contributes to Back to School Backpack Drive
Blog
August 13, 2014
The San Francisco-based community service team spearheaded a virtual backpack drive during the month of July. Sponsored by the United Way of the Bay Area, the backpack drive made it possible for 300 kids to be fully equipped with supplies as they head back to school.
All school supplies collected were distributed to families at local United Way SparkPoint Centers, which are family-friendly places where hard-working, low-income individuals can access a full range of services to help them achieve long-term financial stability. We appreciate the generous donations from our employees and their effort in making a better Bay Area for everyone.
