Winston’s New York office was honored to host the Harvard Law School Women’s Alliance (HLSWA) Summer Reception for New York-area alumnae, and current HLS students. Held on June 21, 2016, this well-received networking event featured cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in a casual setting.

The event was attended by many extraordinary women, including the Honorable Sondra M. Miller, retired judge and member of the first Harvard Law School (HLS) class to admit women. Judge Miller delivered poignant remarks in honor of the late Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye. In addition, we were honored to be joined by HLS Dean of Students Marcia Sells, HLS Assistant Director of Alumni Relations Sarah Bordeleau, and Luisa Kaye Hagemeier, daughter of Judge Judith Kaye.

HLSWA is an organization for the women graduates of Harvard Law School to come together to foster community, networking, and continuing education. One of the goals of HLSWA is to increase the presence of women in positions of power and leadership.
