The Women’s Leadership Initiative in Winston & Strawn’s Los Angeles office invited firm members, clients, and friends to eat, drink, and shop local at a Holiday Bazaar it hosted on December 3. This event “for women by women” featured five vendors – all women-owned businesses – selling a variety of apparel, jewelry, art, plants and pots, and health and wellness items.

Attendees browsed the wares of local women artists and purveyors while enjoying holiday cheer, cocktails, and tasty appetizers. All of the businesses that made this event possible, from the caterer to the REN Gallery that hosted the Bazaar, are women-owned.

At Winston, we believe that good corporate citizenship includes supporting supplier diversity to create sustainable economic development in the communities where we live and work.

Of Counsel Emilie Woodhead created this event as a way to foster support for local women-owned businesses and bring together our attorneys and clients to kick off the holiday season. Senior Marketing & Industry Teams Specialist Alix Porreca was instrumental in making it a success.
