Boardroom or Courtroom? LA Partners Help USC APALSA Students Decide

On March 7, members of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA) at USC Gould School of Law enjoyed a rousing presentation by Winston Corporate Partner Warren Loui and Litigation Partner Steve Smerek.

These two veteran attorneys presented their opposing views on “Why You Want to be a Corporate/Litigation Lawyer” to nearly 50 USC law students who attended this program.

After hearing about the different personalities—and perks—of deal negotiation vs. dispute resolution, the students no doubt came away with a better understanding of which practice may best suit them.
